THE STUDY
This 'isafe study' is testing an interactive internet based tool for women who live in unsafe and abusive relationships with their intimate partner. We will evaluate whether the intervention improves women's safety decisions, negative mental health consequences and helps to prevent further abuse.

THE TECHNOLOGY
The web-based decision aid uses many standardised measures to help determine the mental health and safety risks associated with continued partner violence. The decision aid combines the women's answers to the standardised measures with their selected priorities in decision making to provide a tailored action plan to help improve safety. Various local resources are also provided in order to help the participant seek further assistance.
